Due to this continuous operating mixer agitator, the salts do not get any opportunity to form flakes inside the reactor. Yet at the same time, the concentration and precipitation is taking place. This results in the concentrate to eventually become super saturated. Upon release of the concentrate outside the reactor, it releases heat to the atmosphere and starts crystallizing itself. 

This concentrate solution when passed though a filter press will easily filter out the precipitated salts. Whereas the remaining mother Liquor is returned back to the Evaporator Feed.
